2013 has taught me two new things already
1. i love orange wigs
2. i love limos

wig parties win all!

One of my favorite dresses sold today.

This beauty is going off to Ireland....

(if only i could go with it!)

Don't worry reader. (yes, singular)

I'm still here.

Summer is in full swing and, in classic form, taking over my spare time.

I now fill any hole in my day with gardening... sewing... and the endless socialzing.

I'll find my way back here real soon.

Mail from abroad.

I turned 26 two weeks ago.

Still to this day, receiving simple cards and gifts in the mail always make my heart warm.

To Krystina,

I will try my hardest to not loose the connect four pieces!

Snow Storm.

Woke up to 6 inches of snow this morning.

In my head I'm all ready for shorts, biking, and long nights.

(guess i'll have to wait)

Found.

A photo of my house from 1979.

I'm on a constant search for what my house looked like when it was built in 1898.

This summer I am making it a point to find out more.

Six Years.

Happy Anniversary to us.

Lazy Sunday.

Spent the afternoon in the kitchen.

cleaning, organzing, and starting to fall in love with the renovation.

Here's a few things I know I want.

Claw foot tub with round shower rail.

New Floors

I finally got my kitchen floors installed!  Red Oak Hardwood.

Later this week the contractors will be installing the sink and staining the floors.

Swoonz...

Building up images to inspire my dining room/office.

I have a room with little "useable" space.  A lot of doors and windows on every wall.

...shelving is the way to go...

Self-Conscious Mutt

Matti the house dog is a fluffy cockapoo.

She enjoys sitting in windows and jumping real high..

She also enjoys the snow. and walking in the deep deep piles

Last week we said "goodbye!" to her lovely curls!

She had severe matts on her caused by the snow.

She is in shock herself.  We're hoping her spirit comes back as her hair grows!

Who knew they were so aware of their looks....
